Kari Whitman is an interior designer to the Hollywood's elite, and in tonight's season finale of her WE: Women's Entertainment reality show, "Designer to the Stars: Kari Whitman," she's taking on a new client.

It's none other than Kristen Bell, our favorite Huntington Woods native and star of The CW teen whodunit "Veronica Mars."

While the future of Bell's series is uncertain -- these days The CW is all about "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll," the show's temporary time-slot replacement -- Bell still has to live comfortably, right? So she enlists the help of Whitman, who quickly gets down to the business of transforming the dog-friendly star's backyard into a doggie paradise that's also a people hangout.

With Bell's house as the main stage, viewers will witness a very prepared Whitman score some tile samples at one of her favorite haunts and trade friendly barbs with Johnny, her contractor, who constantly finds himself waiting for his boss to get off her cell phone.

Somehow, Whitman manages to juggle call after call while construction is well under way and Whitman's painter is busily sketching designs. She also squeezes in time to attend a pet adoption all before delivering the backyard of Bell's dreams.

Not heady stuff, but a great fluffy and fun way to end a busy work week.
